Spring is in the air and Rotarians have a great opportunity to "hop" to it by joining fellow residents at the City of Lakeway's beloved annual Eggstravaganza! Planned for Saturday, March 28 from noon to 2pm, this event is a wonderful way to celebrate Rotary's annual day of service in a most eggsciting way!

We're sponsoring a booth and distributing super cute plush spring animals (think bunnies, chicks, turtles, etc.) to the anticipated 500 kids in attendance.  And what better way to share Rotary's quest for new members than by offering their parents an opportunity to get to know us?

Volunteers are needed to assist with the petting zoo, face painting, photos with the Easter Bunny, and various other engaging booths and activities. We've attached a link for your easy sign-up with strong hopes that you can join us for a day of fun-filled Easter excitement for the whole community.

Youth Protection Training

Make sure to get your training completed - it only takes 1/2 hour! This training is for anyone working with the Youth - such as the 4 way speech contest, driving kids to RYLA, Adoption Awareness event, etc. You will need to have your Youth Protection Training in place if you plan on participating with any of these activities. The training can be accessed through MyRotary portal. Let Lana know if you need assistance with logging in.

New Monthly Committee Meetings:
On the second Thursday of each month, we'll hold brief committee meetings from 1-1:30pm right after our regular lunch meetings. This will give members a chance to get involved in areas of the club that interest them, meet committee leaders, and learn more about the different ways you can make a difference.  Groups you can plug into include:
- Membership
- Youth Services
- Service Projects
- Rotary Foundation
- Public Relations
- Board Roles
